Christmas ‘panto’ tradition set to take hold

Springfree Trampoline are very excited to present the inaugural JingleBuzz event, being held in Brisbane on Sunday 22nd December. The one-day event has been created to capture the magic of Christmas with a unique festive experience including a Christmas Pantomime and a Christmas Village Fair.

Christmas ‘panto’ tradition set to take hold

The JingleBuzz kids also performed in a pop-up flash mob appearance in Brisbane’s Queen Street Mall and South Bank, amongst the hustle and bustle of city shoppers…. Everyone was curious to find out more about the Springfree Trampoline JingleBuzz after these spontaneous outbursts of enthusiasm! . Even the channel 9 news crew came along to film the performance.

The pantomime “Once Upon a Christmas” will be hosted by media personality Emily Jade O’Keeffe and is poised to raise funds for The Pyjama Foundation. “It’s a magical time of year and a particularly important time to support kids in foster care”, says Emily Jade O’Keeffe, ambassador for the foundation. “This event is a fabulous opportunity for the children by the children, and a great opportunity for families to soak-up the festive atmosphere and start a new Christmas tradition”.

Families will not only have the opportunity to see a traditional Christmas ‘panto’, but enjoy a traditional European-style Christmas Village Fair with boutique stalls, yummy treats, kiddy rides and the Springfree Trampoline Jump Zone! Just three days out from Christmas, the atmosphere is sure to be a buzz! The traditional Christmas pantomime may have deep roots in Europe and the United Kingdom but Queensland is set to enjoy its own ‘panto’ phenomenon come this 22nd December at La Boite’s Roundhouse Theatre, Kelvin Grove, Brisbane.

Show times are 10am, 12.30pm and 3pm, tickets are $28pp and available through QTIX or by phone 07 3007 8600, with proceeds going to The Pyjama Foundation. Plus, everyone who purchases a ticket goes in the draw to win a Springfree Trampoline! Christmas Village Fair is free and open to the public between 9am and 3pm.
